Level 3 HACCP Training - Intermediate HACCP Training (Catering)
As of the 1st January 2006 new Food Hygiene Laws have being introduced and they affect all food businesses, including Caterers, Manufacturers and Retailers.
One of the main additions to the Food Hygiene Legislation was HACCP, (Hazard Analysis Critial Control Point). This is an internationally recognised and recommended Food Safety Management System.
This Online Level 3 HACCP Training Course, also known as Advanced HACCP Training, has being created to satisfy the need to train Supervisors, Managers and Owners of Food Businesses to a higher standard than other employees.
Who needs a Level 3 HACCP Training?
All employees within the Food Industry need to undertake HACCP Training. There is no legal requirement to attend a formal traning course, for example a classroom course, and Online HACCP Training can be taken to attain your HACCP Certificate.
In addition to HACCP Awareness Training, All Supervisors, Managers and Owners or Food Businesses should also undertake Intermediate HACCP Training, Level 3 HACCP Training. This is due to the need to have a greater understanding of HACCP Principles due to management responsibilities.

What areas does this Level 3 HACCP Course Cover?
This Level 3 HACCP Training Course follows the same syllabus as the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, CIEH. This course will provide an introduction to food safety management systems, the legal requirements relationg to HACCP, The 7 principles of HACCP, Steps in the identification of Critical Control Ponts (CCP's) and the preperation of a HACCP Plan. Assessment
The Level 3 HACCP for Catering Assessment will take approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour to complete. The assessment is multiple choice and consists of 60 questions. These questons are randomly generated from a question bank of over 120 questions. To pass the assessment and gain your HACCP Certificate you must achieve a score of 75%, 45 out of 60. If for any reason you fail the course we will provide you a resit for just a £25 + VAT charge.
